^Lot 650 Chatellerault Model 1892 8mm Lebel #D68868

WW1 French made (Chatellerault Arsenal) Berthier bolt action military carbine with a 17.75" barrel, bayonet lug, sling attachments, tangent rear sight and matching serial numbers between receiver, barrel, floorplate,bolt, and stock. Dated 1917. Metal finish is grey on the bolt, butt plate, and triggerguard. The bluing on the other parts has dulled. The rear sling swivel is missing as is the cleaning rod. Bore is rough but rifling present.. The wood is good with some minor ding/scratches with a faint cartouche. NRA Condition-Good. C&R firearm.
